Pequeno pleurobrânquio crescendo apenas até 2cm de comprimento. Corpo claro translúcido através do qual se pode ver a massa visceral acastanhada. O corpo está coberto por pequeníssimos tubérculos quase transparentes rodeados por linhas claras. Apresenta quatro pequenas marcas brancas nas diagonais à volta do manto e uma marca em forma de cruz no centro, mais visível nos juvenils. Alimenta-se de esponjas e encontra-se normalmente debaixo de rochas. Pode ser confundido com Berthella plumula.
Small pleurobranch growing up to just 2cm long. Light translucent body through which the brownish viscera are visible. The body is covered with very small pustules surrounded by white lines. Four small white markings are visible on the diagonals of the mantle which has a cross shaped white marking in the center, more visible in juveniles. Feeds on sponges and is usually found under stones. May be mistaken by Berthella plumula.
