Corpo castanho escuro com pontos brancos de dimensão variável. Os parapódios estendem-se em pequenos tentáculos no extremo anterior. Apresenta também um pequeno flagelo no lado posterior (apenas num dos lados). Produzem uma grande quantidade de muco em redor do corpo o que permite formar um túnel por onde deslizam mais facilmente, com a ajuda de cílios, enquanto atravessam o substrato móvel.

Dark brown body with white spots of variable size. The parapodia extend to small tentacles at the front. It also has a thin flagellum at the rear (only one side). These animals produce a large amount of mucus around the body making a sort of tunnel through which they crawl more easily with the help of cilia while they plow the sandy bottoms.
