Nudibrânquio relativamente grande de corpo translúcido alaranjado, cerata e rinóforos com pigmentação laranja e linhas brancas a todo o comprimento do corpo e estendendo-se até aos tentáculos orais, uma de cada lado, passando por baixo dos rinóforos, e outra média passando entre estes e bifurcando perto da boca para os tentáculos orais. Estes são bastante longos e claros na ponta. Relativamente comum nalguns locais. Embora a compilação de Gary MacDonald e James Nybakken "List of the Worldwide Food Habits of Nudibranchs" indique que se alimenta também de Flabellina affinis e Flabellina pedata, é actualmente aceite que se alimenta apenas de hidrozoários.
A relatively large nudibranch with translucent orange body and cerata and rhinophores with orange pigment and longitudinal white lines along the body extending to the oral tentacles. It also shows a median white line passing between the rhinophores and splitting near the mouth to each oral tentacle. These tentacles are quite long and lighter at the tips. This species can be very common in certain places.
